EBAN is Europe’s leading early stage investor community gathering over 130 members across more than 50 countries globally.

As a non for profit trade association based in Brussels, Belgium, we are the voice of angel investing towards all EU institutions, enabling early stage investors and business angel groups to make more and better investments. We work closely with founders and investors to grow the early stage investment ecosystem by sharing knowledge, building connections and supporting innovative startups in their entrepreneurial journey.

With strong expertise in education and capacity building, we strengthen investor communities, create connections with trusted counterparts worldwide, and advocate for better public policy to unleash the potential of European entrepreneurship. EBAN represents a market which invests over 13 billion Euros each year in innovative and technology driven startups and SMEs.

Knowledge and Innovation (K&I) is a social research organisation based in Rome. Its members are social scientists that have been carrying out around 30 projects, along the last 20 years, in the frame of the EU DG research FP4, FP5, FP6, FP7 and H2020 on issues such as ecological responsibility and energy transition, environmental sustainability, socialisation of the scientific research, public engagement and responsible research and innovation (RRI); gender and science; societal issues related to natural and man-made hazards; privacy and security; poverty, social exclusion and social polarisation; etc.

The mission of K&I is to increase the relevance and effectiveness of the social sciences to interpret the profound processes of change that are affecting contemporary societies, understanding how they are evolving over time, identifying connected societal stress and investigating available options and tools for their effective management.

Sapienza University of Rome is one of the oldest universities in the world and the second largest University in Europe, greatly able to manage its outstanding numbers: 120.000 enrolled students, 8.000 of them coming from outside Italy and 1.000 incoming and outgoing exchange students each year, 11 faculties which cover any kind of scientific and social area with their 59 departments, more than 4.700 professors and researchers and 4.300 administrative and technical staff.

Sapienza is one of the few Italian public Universities always ranked in major international rankings, active member of several international networks such as UNICA, UNIMED, the SANTANDER GROUP and many others and therefore plays a fundamental role in the academic international scenario.

The South-East European Research Centre (SEERC) is a research centre of CITY College, University of York Europe Campus, established as a non-profit, legal entity in Thessaloniki, Greece in 2004. It is conducting multidisciplinary research in the fields of Enterprise, Innovation & Development, Information & Communication Technologies, and Society & Human Development. SEERC’s mission is to support the stable and smooth development of South-East Europe by conducting pure and applied research throughout and for the Region. The Centre’ current agenda includes, among others, work that addresses early-stage investment, Responsible Research and Innovation and Quadruple Helix engagement.

Wageningen University is part of Wageningen University and Research Centre (WUR), which is a leading international knowledge institute in the fields of nutritional health, sustainable agricultural systems and environmental quality. WUR consists of Wageningen University, eight research institutes, two applied research institutes and a training and advisory centre. WUR has 6,500 employees and over 4,500 students. 

The research institutes carry out strategic, applied and practical research for businesses, governments and stakeholder groups. The research institutes and university work together closely in five areas of expertise: Social-, Plant-, Environmental-, Animal- and Agrotechnology & Food Sciences.

YET

YET (Youth | Entrepreneurship | Education | Technology) is a registered NGO based in Thessaloniki, Greece. It aims to support young and future entrepreneurs, foster innovation, entrepreneurship and bring positive and impactful change for Greece, South Easter Europe and the EU.

YET firmly aims to help its dynamic audience (college students, young professionals, start-ups, future and current entrepreneurs) to improve their managerial, networking and leadership skills. To achieve this, YET has organized throughout the years of its activities a series of informative and training seminars,  workshops, open events, conferences, with a variety of guest speakers and hundreds of participants. 

YET is also a proud Member of the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition.
